Congratulations to Student Board President Leslie Bashuck for being recognized by Kappa Delta as an outstanding member and leader on the campus community.   The information below was posted by KD in recognition of Leslie’s accomplishments:

Starting a new semester means starting a new semester of KD Involved! ⭐️ KD Involved highlights outstanding members that hold leadership positions outside of Kappa Delta. By highlighting their involvement and displaying their favorite quote, we promote women’s confidence and motivation to get involved with campus organizations ❤️

This week on #kdinvolved… Introducing Leslie Bashuk! She is the Bama Hillel President at The University of Alabama and a member of AIPAC, UA’s campus affliated chapter.⚡️
Major: Marketing
Hometown: Macon, Georgia

“Bama Hillel has been my passion since stepping onto campus my freshman year! I currently serve on the Student Executive Board as President and I get to represent the growing Jewish community here at UA. Hillel is a community of students seeking their religious roots in college. I have laughed, studied, ate, and built a home here at Bama Hillel! Without Bama Hillel, I would not have the opportunity to meet others like me, join international organizations for young Jewish students like AIPAC, or participate in trips to Israel! I have also loved welcoming new members of Kappa Delta into this organization so they too can find a Jewish community for their years at Alabama!” -Leslie Bashuk

Thank you so much for your involvement and participation through Bama Hillel and AIPAC! Your leadership has pushed other KD members to join and get involved on campus! You rock, Leslie!!❤️🎉💕
