Matzo Ball Soup Delivery and Zoom Shabbat

Matzo Ball Soup Delivery
At Bama Hillel, the physical and spiritual wellbeing of our students is our number one priority. While we are not able to have in person events at this time, we want you to know that we are here for you.
Our interns have been busy making matzo ball soup this week for those who are not feeling well or simply need a pick me up. In order to fulfill requests, please complete our Matzo Ball Soup Request Form. We will do our best to deliver your homemade soup in a timely manner, but please be patient as we move through this process. All deliveries must be contact free. Pick up options at Hillel are also available.
Shabbat in the Box for Zoom
While we are not able to spend Shabbat together, we are there for our students and their Jewish experience at Bama.
We have a limited number of Shabbat Boxes available for students who wish to celebrate Shabbat in their dorms or homes while on our Zoom Shabbat.
If you would like pick up a Shabbat Box or have one delivered by no contact drop-off, please complete the Shabbat Box Sign Up Form.

Zoom Shabbat & Social Hour
Welcome Shabbat this week with Bama Hillel’s Virtual Shabbat and Social Hour at 5:30 on Friday, August 28th. There will be no food service (hopefully next week!) but we will still celebrate Shabbat and have a chance to visit with each other via Zoom. Please complete the registration link for Bama Hillel’s Zoom Shabbat. Zoom links for Temple Emanu-el Tuscaloosa Services are also available. Contact Lisa at Lisa.BamaHillel@gmail.com for more information.
