Already frazzled about the coming semester? Worried about balancing your workload and social life?
World-renowned Zen Buddhist poet, author and priest Norman Fischer is here to help!
Fischer will be giving a unique student talk about re-centering and inserting Zen spirituality into your day-to-day life. He will guide us through various small rituals that can promote inner tranquility.
Norman Fischer was born Jewish and has also stayed in touch with his Jewish heritage, occasionally attending services at Beth Sholom synagogue in San Francisco, California. Check out more about Norman Fischer here:

After his brief discussion, Fischer will lead a special 30-minute meditation session. Sit anywhere you’re most comfortable (on a chair, on a yoga mat), but we highly recommend you to BYOP! (Bring Your Own Pillow, that is).
Refreshments will be provided!
This event is a great way to connect with other religious philosophies. Everyone is welcome! Click here for the Facebook event page.
The program is co-presented by Creative Campus, Hillel, and St. Francis.
