High Holidays at Hillel

The High Holidays are quickly approaching and we can’t wait to spend them with you!  We will offer an Erev RH meal on Monday, September 22nd at 5:30 pm followed by optional services lead by Rabbi Jacobs steps away at Temple Emanu-el.  Students may RSVP for all High Holiday Activities at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090D4EABAC29A6F85-58514233-high

Want to become a High Holiday Sponsor? As you know we never charge students for any Shabbat or Holiday meals and we need your help to continue this holiday tradition.

Please consider sponsoring a table for our upcoming Holiday meals.

You can sponsor a table of 8 for $180 or half a table for $90 Donate any amount through the Hillel High Holiday Donation Portal.

Our erev Yom Kippur meal begins at 5:30 on Wednesday, October 1st with Break Fast on Thursday, October 2nd around 6:30 pm.  

You should be able to sign up for ALL High Holiday options through the signup genius link.  We hope this creates a simpler process for all your holiday needs. Parents and family members are welcome to attend all holiday celebrations and observances.  Please complete a seperate sign up for each guest attending.

Rosh Hashanah

• Erev Rosh Hashanah – Evening Service: Monday September 22nd, 7pm (followed by an oneg)
• Rosh Hashanah – Morning Service: Tuesday September 23rd, 10:00am
• Tashlich: Tuesday September 23, 2:00 pm (at the Riverwalk Park at Manderson Landing – please bring your own bread)

Yom Kippur

• Erev Yom Kippur – Evening Service: Wednesday October 1st, 7:00pm
• Morning Service: Thursday October 2nd, 10:00am
• Afternoon Service: Thursday October 2nd, 3:00pm
• Yizkor Memorial Service: Thursday October 2nd, 5:00pm (directly after the Afternoon Service)
• Concluding Service: Thursday October 2nd, 5:30pm (directly after Yizkor)
• Break-the-fast: (6:30ish) Thursday October 2nd, after the Concluding Service, sponsored by the Sisterhood of Temple Emanu-El, at the UA Bloom Hillel Student Center
